Master 0sifu Folktale: Fearing one’s own shadow

A person feared his own shadow and loathed his own footprints, and wanted to leave behind his shadow and footprints very much.

So he ran faster and faster, and left more and more footprints. And his shadow chased him faster and faster. But he thought it was because he did not run fast enough. Then he ran forward even faster. In the end he died of exhaustion on the road. He did not know that if he hid in shady palaces, there would be no shadow. If he stopped there would be no more footprints. How stupid the person was!
